At Oxford City Supplies we stock a range of appropriate products to help deal with and prevent the spread of swine flu, tissues are one example, disposable paper wiping cloths, anti bacterial soap and sanitisers are others, but we strongly recommend a product called Steri-7… BUT PLEASE READ ON!

Although there is still some debate about the origins of Swine Flu we know that it’s passed from human to human like any other flu virus. Because it’s a new strand of the virus people have not built up a natural immunity to it like the common flu, this is why there is a concern of a pandemic—i.e. a global outbreak of flu that spreads quickly between humans.

There are several SIMPLE things we can do to help prevent the spread of Swine flu.

1. Wash your hands regularly with soap and water, or antibacterial hand gel.

2. Cover you mouth and nose with a tissue if you cough or sneeze, dispose of it immediately after use.

3. Clean hard surfaces regularly—using antibacterial, or viracidal cleaners.
