Role: Sales Representative

Salary: £17,000 to £21,000 + bonuses

Hours: Monday to Friday 8am – 5pm (40hrs)

Package: Company car (work mileage covered), company phone

 

We are the largest distributor of janitorial products, paper and machinery within Oxfordshire we have over 600 customers, a turnover of 1.6 million and stock 1,500 products.

 

We focus our business within Oxfordshire’s borders and offer a dependable service, good quality products at affordable prices.

 

We are looking for someone to join our existing sales team to help us grow our business.

 

What will you be doing?

 

No two days are the same, your role will involve looking after all facets of a territory, which means taking orders, collecting money, introducing new products and innovations and finding new accounts to add to the existing base.

 

Our customers range from big blue chip firms to small one man bands.

 

Your goal will be to increase turnover by 10%, to maintain the gross profit levels and to add to the customer base.

 

The person we are looking for

 

Must be able to manage their own work load, be prepared to work hard and use their own initiative.

 

They must have good time management, presentation and IT skills especially in Excel, Outlook and Word.

 

Field sales experience and a local knowledge is preferred, but personality and general character is more important.

 

Working hours are Monday to Friday 8.00am – to 5.00pm (some work outside of these hours will be required from time to time).
